How We Verify Your Account

We hold licence OGL/2024/1730/0912 from the Curaçao Gaming Control Board, and that licence obliges us to verify every player and monitor every transaction. This page sets out exactly what we check, when we check it and what we ask of you.

Our Anti Money Laundering Commitment

We operate under licence number OGL/2024/1730/0912 issued by the Curaçao Gaming Control Board. That licence binds us to the anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorist-financing rules of our licence jurisdiction, and we treat those obligations as a condition of doing business, not a formality.

Our money-laundering risk framework covers three layers: verifying who you are before money leaves the platform, monitoring deposits and withdrawals against your established profile, and reporting suspicious activity to the relevant authority. Every member of our compliance team is trained to apply these controls, and no commercial consideration overrides them.

When We Verify Your Identity

Verification triggers

Verification is not a single event. We run checks at three points: at registration, where we screen your details against sanctions and politically-exposed-person lists; at your first withdrawal, where full document verification is mandatory; and at any threshold where deposits, winnings or betting patterns fall outside your normal profile.

  • At registration: electronic identity screening against sanctions, PEP and adverse-media databases.
  • Before your first withdrawal: full document verification of ID, address and payment method.
  • On reaching internal thresholds: enhanced due diligence, including source-of-funds evidence.
  • At any point: ad-hoc checks if activity on your account raises a concern.

Documents we accept

We ask for three categories of document. First, a government-issued photo ID: passport, driving licence or national identity card, valid and legible, with all four corners visible. Second, proof of address dated within the last three months: a utility bill, bank statement or official letter showing your name and residential address. Third, proof that the payment method belongs to you: a photo of the card with the middle digits covered, or a screenshot of your e-wallet or crypto wallet showing your name or account identifier.

Documents must be in colour, unedited and uncropped. We reject screenshots of photocopies, files with visible photo-editing and documents where any data field is obscured.

Verification Step by Step

Our KYC team processes documents within 48 hours of submission. Most straightforward checks clear far faster. Here is the sequence from your side:

  • 1. Upload your documents through the verification section of your account, or email them to [email protected].
  • 2. Our team reviews each document for authenticity, legibility and matching against your registered details.
  • 3. If anything is unclear, we contact you within the review window with a specific request, never a vague rejection.
  • 4. Once approved, your withdrawal limit unlocks and we confirm by email.
  • 5. If a check fails, we tell you which document failed and why, and you may resubmit.

How your documents are protected

Documents are stored on encrypted servers with access restricted to trained compliance staff. We never share your verification data with third parties except where our licence or applicable law requires disclosure to a financial-intelligence authority. Transmission uses TLS encryption end to end.

When We Ask About Source of Funds

If your deposits exceed the level consistent with the profile you have established with us, we will ask where the money comes from. This is not an accusation; it is a statutory requirement under our licence conditions and it applies to every player equally.

Typical evidence includes payslips, a tax return, a pension statement, dividend or investment records, a signed letter from an accountant, or proof of the sale of an asset. Crypto deposits may require evidence of the wallet's provenance, such as an exchange statement in your name.

We ask for source of funds when cumulative deposits pass our internal threshold, when a single deposit is unusually large relative to your history, or when wagering patterns suggest funds are being cycled rather than played. Withdrawals stay on hold until the review closes, and a cleared review does not repeat unless circumstances change again.

How We Monitor Transactions

Deposit and withdrawal checks

Every deposit and withdrawal passes automated screening before and after settlement. The screening compares the transaction against your verified identity, your deposit history, the payment methods on file and known risk patterns. Flagged transactions go to a human reviewer before funds move.

We apply a same-method rule: withdrawals must return to the same Visa Debit, Mastercard, PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, Trustly, MiFinity, bank account, Bitcoin or Tether source you used to deposit, up to the amount deposited. Any surplus above your total deposits may be paid to a secondary verified method at our discretion.

If Verification Fails or Stalls

Where documents are missing, expired or inconsistent with your registered details, we suspend withdrawals on the account until the discrepancy is resolved. Gameplay is not blocked at that stage, but no funds leave the platform.

If you refuse to provide requested documents, provide falsified documents, or we cannot reconcile your identity with your payment methods, we may close the account under our licence conditions. Where the law requires it, we report the matter to the competent authority before any remaining balance is handled, and we may withhold payment pending that report.

You can appeal any decision by writing to [email protected], available 24/7 through live chat and email. Appeals receive a documented second review by a senior compliance officer.

How Long We Keep Records

We retain verification documents and transaction records for at least five years after the closure of your account, as required under the anti-money-laundering rules applicable to our Curaçao licence. Retention exists so that historical records remain available to us and to the authorities if an investigation requires them.

After the retention period expires, we delete or irreversibly anonymise your documents. You may request confirmation of what we hold about you at any time by contacting [email protected], and we respond within the statutory timeframe.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I need to verify my account if I only deposited £20?

Our licence requires identity checks at registration and full document verification before your first withdrawal, regardless of the amount. The £20 minimum deposit does not exempt you.

How long does verification take?

Up to 48 hours for standard checks. Enhanced due diligence, including source-of-funds reviews, can take up to 5 business days.

Can I withdraw to a different method than I deposited with?

No. Withdrawals must return to the same verified method used for deposit, up to the deposited amount. Winnings above your total deposits may be paid to another verified method at our discretion.

What happens if my documents are rejected?

We tell you which document failed and why, and you can resubmit corrected documents. Withdrawals stay suspended until verification succeeds.

Do you share my documents with anyone?

Only trained compliance staff can access them, and we disclose verification data to third parties solely where our licence or applicable law requires it, such as a report to a financial-intelligence authority.
